Alvin Chow is a seasoned media executive with 35 years of experience leading sales and advertising strategy across some of Canada’s most recognized media organizations. He served as the Vice President, National Sales at Lodestar Media and Publisher at Richmond News, where he helped brands connect with audiences through innovative, multi-platform storytelling.
Before joining Lodestar, Alvin had held leadership roles at Postmedia Network Inc., overseeing national and regional sales operations and guiding teams through the industry’s transition from print-first to digital-first advertising. Throughout his career, Alvin has been known for his collaborative leadership style, his ability to build lasting client relationships, and his passion for growing talent within the media and advertising community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Alvin is deeply committed to giving back. He serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of Directors for NABS West, supporting the health and wellbeing of professionals in the communications industry, and has volunteered with organizations such as News Media Canada and the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome Track Classic.
