As the Manager of Economic Investment Services at the City of Surrey, our division’s mandate at the City is to drive economic prosperity in Surrey by supporting local businesses, attracting foreign investments, and conducting research analysis. A relevant achievement of this division includes collaborating with SFU and KPU to develop the Mechatronics program, highlighting the importance of municipal partnerships in advancing sectors like advanced manufacturing. Previously, as a Business Relationship Specialist, Caroline gained hands-on experience working with local businesses to address challenges and identify opportunities for growth.
Caroline’s team also leads initiatives like Innovation Boulevard, supporting businesses in adopting Industry 4.0 technologies. With a background in economic development roles at the City of Richmond and nine years at KPU’s Institute for Sustainable Food Systems, Caroline brings a wealth of experience in fostering collaboration and driving impactful results.
