Ramesh Ranjan is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, including senior roles with the Government of British Columbia and the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. He currently serves as the Official Engagement Lead at Canadian Blood Services, where he builds meaningful connections with elected officials across Canada to advance opportunities that support Canadian patients.
Previously, Ramesh held the role of Director of Outreach for the BC Government Caucus, where he led province-wide engagement initiatives and collaborated closely with Members of the Legislative Assembly to strengthen community outreach. His extensive public sector experience also includes serving as Chief of Staff and Ministerial Advisor to five Cabinet Ministers, where he provided strategic advice on political, policy, and communications matters while managing high-profile issues aligned with government priorities.
Before entering public service, Ramesh worked for nearly five years at ElementIQ, a digital marketing agency, where he developed skills in digital strategy and client engagement.
Passionate about personal well-being and community involvement, Ramesh is currently pursuing a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. He also serves as a Trustee on the Greater Victoria Public Library Board and enjoys playing recreational roller hockey in his free time.
